Since my passion for photography keeps growing and growing, I spend a lot of time looking for different photo resources on the internet. One of my stops on the net was at a nice little community called PhotographyBB.com. The administrator, Dave, really does a nice job of keeping the site going and is one of the more public and friendly admins on the net in my experience.
The thing that caught my eye first was a free online photo magazine. Its in a PDF format and a new one is released each month. There are some great articles every month that cover everything from vintage cameras to tips for using Photoshop. Its a nice read and doesn't get any better than free.
They also have a forum which is pretty active with members all over the world posting their favorite photos just to share or for critique. You can also find monthly assignments in the forum which give participants a subject to shoot and the 3 best photos are published in the following online magazine PDF. I was lucky enough to get one of my shots published in the November 2008 edition (#10).
Look for my writing to soon funnel over to this online magazine too. I am currently working on some articles that may be published in future editions. Make sure to stop by. If you are into photography... its surely worth your time.
