I don't usually read a lot of books. Don't have a lot of time for fiction and non-fiction books are usually dated info but from time-to-time I will get a 'how to' book on computer programs etc. I actually prefer periodicals over books because the information is usually more recent, brief, and well illustrated with art or photos. It appeals more to my artistic visual side I guess.
Recently, I discovered Google has books online. At first I thought, "Great, more literature that is probably dated and uninteresting." Not so true I discovered as I browsed their offerings. I looked up photography books for example. Most are older but did find a few that were 2000 and newer and yes... even found one that grabbed my interest. Sadly its just a portion of the book because they want to encourage people to buy it but its still a good portion.
So I have this book currently bookmarked and reading it as time permits...
