Dayton Tea Party Founder & President Rob Scott spoke to Congressman Turner's Chief of Staff and was assured that Congressman Turner is voting NO on Cap and Trade. Congressman Turner stated to the Dayton Tea Party:

"I voted against the $700 billion bailout plan and the $800 billion stimulus plan. I am also opposed to the Administration's Cap & Trade bill. This bill could prove devastating to many Ohio families and small businesses who are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the current economic crisis."

I am gaining a little more respect for our representatives because this says they "do" understand the economic situation and possibly more so than our countries leader and VP who claim they "underestimated" the economic crisis previously when passing the stimulus packages through congress. If you want to help improve unemployment rates and help the economy... imposing the largest tax hike in our country's history is only going to make the problems worse. Please Mr. President... let's try another solution that actually "makes" sense. Then, you will have my support.
