BelAir Fin

A view of the rear passenger side fin on an old Chevrolet BelAir Nomad classic automobile in Dayton, Ohio. See more photos, click here.

There is something about the old classics cars with nice paint and lots of shiny chrome that begs to admired and photographed. That was my thought when I approached this Nomad sitting in a parking lot in Dayton.

The sun bouncing off the really nice paint job and clean and polished chrome really caught my eye on the rear of this beauty. I had already photographed it from the front but wanted something different. I had to capture the fins in a photo. These are a unique feature of classic Chevy autos and they needed to be featured so I opted for a bit of a fragmented shot that put them in focus.
