Windy Corn

Corn blows furiously in the wind with stormy skies above. This was shot on the Sunday of the great wind storm in the Ohio area.

"Sometimes I get a bit daring and wandering out in storms to see what photo ops I come across. This time, I should have stayed home. It was the freak wind storm of 2008 when I decided to cruise country roads to observe damage. I found myself on roads covered with tree limbs and utility crews and decided my 2WD was not good for the conditions. Before I packed up the camera, I caught an example of the strong winds as they beat this cornfield furiously."
